Physics GCSE Summer Revision Course – Online

Course Information

Course Description

Our two-day online Physics course is a great way for students to prepare for going back to school. Our experienced teacher will guide students through the topics they have learnt in Year 10, refreshing their knowledge and filling in any gaps in their learning. This course is not specific to an exam board as the aim of the course is to refresh and re-learn content, not prepare for exams. Skills learnt on the course will be applied throughout Year 11. Students will go into their final year of GCSEs feeling confident, prepared and eager to learn.

Learners are supported beyond the courses through the provision of high-quality, comprehensive and original materials, including notes, guides and question booklets. These resources have been specially created to supplement the learning experience and support students beyond the course.

Suitable for:

  • Students entering year 11
  • Students looking to review year 10 subject knowledge, ready to go back to school
  • Students entering year 10
  • Foundation tier students

If you need help deciding if you will benefit from this course you can contact us. Alternatively, you may prefer to book 1-2-1 tuition instead.

El H.

El H.

El earned her BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Wolverhampton. After setting her sights on becoming a teacher, she completed her PGCE in Secondary Sciences at the University of Reading during the height of the pandemic lockdowns. Due to remote schooling being at its peak, El quickly adapted and developed her skills as an online tutor.

While her degree is in biochemistry, El has had a particular passion for physics since taking it for her A Levels. El has worked with the Institute of Physics and Kings College to further her physics, and now works as the Head of Physics at a successful school in Hampshire. El has over 4 years of teaching experience and over 6 years of tutoring experience in all three science up to A level, with a track record of helping her students achieve good results.

When El isn’t teaching or tutoring, she’s kept busy by her range of animals including chickens, ducks and horses.

If you would like 1-2-1 tuition with El you can find her profile on our tuition platform.

Yllka E.

Yllka E.

Yllka holds a degree in Physics and a PGCE in Physics with Maths, both of which she achieved from King’s College London. She discovered her passion for teaching while working in tuition centres across London, which only grew once she became a fully qualified teacher herself. Today she’s an experienced educator and has taught a wide variety of students from many different backgrounds.

Known for her friendly and approachable demeanour, Yllka has been tutoring online since the pandemic lockdowns. She enjoys using online tools and technology creatively to find fresh new ways to keep lessons engaging. Outside of teaching, Yllka enjoys baking sourdough bread, constructing Islamic patterns, and spending quality time with her two young daughters.

Richard B.

Richard B.

Richard holds a BSc in Physics from Birmingham and an MSc in Computer Science from Sheffield Hallam. After a successful career as a Java Developer and in Account Management at IBM, he turned his interpersonal skills towards a new career and became a teacher – the best decision he ever made.

As the Head of Physics at a highly regarded secondary school, Richard is deeply committed to student progress. Year after year, his team achieves impressive results, consistently placing him in the top 10% of colleagues for both GCSE and A Level outcomes. Additionally, he serves as an examiner for a well-known exam board and takes on the whole-school responsibility of leading on Revision Technique and Exam Preparation.

Richard’s passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom, as he is a highly respected private tutor, providing bespoke physics and maths support to students from KS2 SATS preparation to Oxbridge entrance exams.

Frequently Asked Questions

Haven't found what you're looking for? Please get in touch with our friendly team!

How do your online GCSE Physics revision courses work?

Our online revision courses take place within Google Classroom, keeping everything organised in one convenient hub. From here, you’ll be able to access our bespoke course resources and join the live lessons which take place on Google Meet.

Students can interact with the teacher using their microphone or the chat feature.

All sessions are recorded. The lesson recordings are uploaded after each day, allowing you to watch them back for a recap whenever you like.

When will I receive the Google Classroom link for my online revision course?

You should receive your Google Classroom link via email the day before your course starts. Sometimes these emails go to the junk folder so check there before contacting us if you haven’t received it.

When will I receive my revision course handouts?

You will receive physical copies of the handouts 3-5 days before the start of your course, as long as you book with us before the printing deadline. You can find the printing deadline in the course summary box on each booking page.

Please note: we can only send printed handouts to students in the UK.

What if my exam board isn’t listed?

If you can’t see your exam board then we are afraid we aren’t running a course for it. However, this doesn’t mean that one of our courses won’t be useful for you. Contact us to see which course is more closely aligned with your exam board.
