Frequently Asked Questions
All our courses are accompanied by high-quality revision materials. These include interactive workbooks, question booklets and more.
For online courses, we will send you printed copies of the handouts as long as you book by the date specified on the courses page*. Any bookings made after this date will be able to access digital copies of the handouts in the Google Classroom.
*Please note: we can only send printed handouts to students in the UK.
We use Google Classroom for our online courses. Students are sent the link to join the Classroom a few days before the course starts. Inside the Classroom students will find digital copies of all the learning resources they need for the course.
Lessons take place on Google Meet. On the morning of the course, the Meet link will be shared in the Classroom’s stream. Lessons are recorded and saved in the Classroom for students to revisit whenever they wish. Any resources used by teachers during the course are also saved in the Classroom.
During the lessons, our tutors use the latest iPads to replicate a real classroom environment. They can use teaching aids such as Powerpoints and a high-quality online whiteboard. Students can interact with the teacher using both their microphone or the chat feature.
Most of our courses are exam board specific. This means you know you’re only learning the content specific to what you need for your exams. We regularly run courses for AQA, OCR (A) and Edexcel (A) A-level, AQA and Edexcel GCSE (9-1), and Edexcel IGCSE. The exam boards catered to will be specified on the event pages.
The courses which are not exam-board specific are our:- GCSE Summer Refresher courses
- GCSE Mock Preparation Science courses
- AS and A-level Maths courses. The maths topics are universal to all exam boards. However, as Edexcel is the most popular exam board, the practice questions will be taken from Edexcel past papers. You can get an idea of how Edexcel questions are worded by looking through some papers here.
