About our online courses
We use Google Classroom for our online courses. Students are sent the link to join the Classroom a few days before the course starts. Inside the Classroom students will find digital copies of all the learning resources they need for the course.
Lessons take place on Google Meet. On the morning of the course, the Meet link will be shared in the Classroom’s stream. Lessons are recorded and saved in the Classroom for students to revisit whenever they wish. Any resources used by teachers during the course also be also saved in the Classroom. During the lessons, our tutors use the latest iPads to replicate a real classroom environment. They can use teaching aids such as Powerpoints and a high-quality online whiteboard. Students can interact with the teacher using both their microphone or the chat feature.
All our courses are accompanied by high-quality revision material. We will send you printed copies of these as long as you book at least a week before the start of the course*. Any bookings made within a week of the course start date will be able to access digital copies of the handouts in the Classroom. *Please note: we can only send printed handouts to students in the UK.
It’s really easy to join our online courses. Click here for our detailed guide about Google Classroom.
The google meet was extremely organised and easy to use. Far better than all of my online live lessons!
It was very good! He wrote notes so clearly and it was so easy to visualise and understand. The tutor used different colors and diagrams to emphasise certain important notes which made it even more interactive.
The best out of all of the others (teams, zoom, etc.) particularly because of the use of the iPad whiteboard.
Google meet was very easy to use and it was nice to see Daan’s face and his whiteboard, much like being in person.
We also run classroom-based courses in the Easter holidays. These will not be taking place this year due to Covid-19 but they will be back in 2022. Please click here for more information about our classroom courses.
